Hello and thank you for checking out my Portfolio
My name is Markus Lenhard. I live and work in Germany close, to the country's capital, Berlin. I am tattooing since 2003 and specialize in the genre of Biomechanical design. All the work you can see on this site has been conceptualized and executed on skin by myself. If you like what you see and are yourself seriously looking into getting tattooed by me, please read this carefully before you contact me.
Please be aware that the work you see here takes a certain amount of time to finish. I try to only show healed and settled work in high detail in order to give you the right idea about what to expect. Most sleeves you see here have taken about 40-50 hours to complete. This is a reality some may have to come to terms with when thinking about starting a project like this. It is a big commitment on both sides. But very doable when planned correctly and realistically. At this point I'd like to thank all my clients, who helped me to get to this point. Any artist is worthless without a canvas. And I am proud to have had the best canvases so far. Thx for all the patience and commitment. You guys rock!
Through the years, my custom style has become in demand in a way I never thought was possible. Although I am infinitely grateful, I just cannot handle everyone's requests and messages. I do read them all but just don't have the time to reply to them all. I am very sorry, please understand. I am a firm believer that custom work should not be duplicated in any way. Especially in the same industry/medium. Always remember to use other artists custom styles as an inspiration and never duplication. For all those of you who think about travelling to Germany to get tattooed by me: Please do contact me with any questions. I actually mostly work with people who travel and have a lot of experience in that regard and how to get a lot done in a short amount of time.
Check out the "Workflow" page for more information.
Due to the intricate way and amount of time I need to design my concepts, I am not much for working conventions. Sorry, but I am much more comfortable in my studio and you would be too. So if you aren't from the area and would like to get some work done, lets figure out a trip to Germany for you! I am on a tight schedule with my clients and want to guarantee privacy and a relaxed atmosphere at the studio. Those of you who know me and have worked with me, know and appreciate this.
I am working from my home studio where I live with my family. For this and other obvious reasons, you will not find an address or phone number on this site. I will happily share both with you once we have made further plans over e-mail. Thanks for your attention and I hope to hear about your ideas and plans in the future!
